So here's some pics of another fun weekend here in Denver. Friday night I was hanging out and getting ready to head up snowboarding at A-Basin. I had this thought that it wouldn't be too hard to strap a snowboard on the back of the motorcycle. So Saturday morning I did just that. It worked out pretty well and was much nicer than driving up. The people that saw me on the way seemed to be pretty impressed as well. So anyways, it was a good day of snowboarding at A-Basin and a lot of fun was had. This will more than likely be my last time for the season, since I'm out of town for the next few weekends. But I did accomplish my goal of landing a 360. So I was pretty proud of myself.
Then we got back to town and headed out for a Rockies game. I'm not a big baseball fan but these games are always fun to go to.
Then early to bed and early to rise for a nice day at the lake. We were on the water pretty early and had probably the best day of wakeboarding I've had since I got the boat. The water was much calmer than normal. Everybody got a few good cuts in for some nice jumps.
We got off the water at about 2 O'Clock and being the masochist that I am, I decided to go on a mountain bike ride up Belcher hil. This is a long, steep, lung-burning, and leg-burning climb. Some people around here can probably do it pretty easily, but I am unfortunately not one of those people. It was quite a workout but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is quite a sense of accomplishment when it was done. Plus the scenery near Golden and White Ranch Park is just beautiful.
And that brings to an end another great Colorado weekend. I'm not sure if I've said this or not, but man I love Colorado.
Stay tuned ... next weekend Bear, Dutch and Sergio do Vegas baby!!!
I found humor in these girl's shirts. I asked if they would take one without the shirts as well ... but they declined.
